Friend

In Telefang 2, every Denjuu has a friend who may assist them in battles. The friend's species is randomly set when a wild Denjuu is first encountered. For event or secret Denjuu, the friend's species is always the same - for example, the starter Rex always has Callinota (Basic) as a friend. A Denjuu's friend never evolves, and is always at the same level as the Denjuu.

Friends can assist Denjuu in battle by randomly appearing at the start of that Denjuu's turn and using one of their own attacks, then the Denjuu is able to select its own move as normal. If a Denjuu happens to have a Stubborn personality, its friend may appear more often.
