Name etymology[edit]

Named after tessen (steel wire), the common Japanese name for Clematis florida.

A list of nicknames for event Denjuu is hidden in the game data. Though they were unused in the final game (with the exception of Noisy the Lampgera), the inclusion of the name テッチン (Tecchin) on the list suggests that Tessen was originally intended to be a secret Denjuu.
