Part 5 - The Elite Four

Nanohana Town

Before you wake up, you'll see a brief scene featuring five new faces discussing their plan to attack Guardian! They're Weldehide's Elite Foure: Benkei, Blub, Stormy and Arumia, as well as their leader, Garden. It seems that they took the opportunity of you being out dealing with Roche to put their plan in motion...

Right after the scene, your mother will wake you up saying that no electronic devices in all of Nanohana Town are working. Then, suddenly, you'll get an email from Garden! He'll recognize you for your achievements so far, but there was nothing that you could do anymore. Weldehide had took over Bugsite and defeated Guardian, and it would only be a matter of time before they take over the real world, too! To make things even worse, they have kidnapped your father. Garden tells you that you should just wait for the world as you know it to end... But there's no way you're gonna let them get away with this, is there? You gotta move to save you father and the whole real and virtual world!

Just like your mother said, though, nothing in Nanohana Town is working, so we can't use any computers to dive into Bugsite. As you explore around, you'll find Yui's dad on the path to the left of the Broadcasting Center. He'll tell you that Yui has been kidnapped as well! That's just terrible... Dr. Gospel will soon arrive by bike, since, well, no cars or trains are working. He'll bring out even more bad news: Weldehide has attacked Guardian and destroyed its HQ! That's how they captured your father, and all A-Rank Hackers have been defeated. He'll ask for your help and give you the Broken Arrow. This is a special item that allows a Hacker to dive into Bugsite from anywhere, no computers needed. It also can access another area: Energy Land! But, for now, you can't access it. You need to recover three items that were taken away by Weldehide: Army, Navy and Airforce. Now you need to go back to Ami Land, Sea Land and Air Land to defeat them and restore the Broken Arrow to its fullest potential.

For now, use the Broken Arrow from your item menu. Those are the options, in order:

  • Amiland
  • Ami Safari Area
  • Ami Techno Area
  • Sealand
  • Sea Resort Area
  • Sea Safari Area
  • Sea Techno Area
  • Airland
  • Air Safari Area
  • Air Techno Area
  • Real World

From this point until the end of this part, all NPCs will be gone from the maps, replaced by Weldehide members that you can fight. Linking will also not be possible, since it was made in Guardian buildings and, well, they're currently taken over. Also, Bugs in every dungeon and Safari Areas have been updated.

Now it's time to choose a destination. For this guide, you'll follow the same sequence as the areas were unlocked, so Ami Land first, then Sea Land, then Air Land. It can be done in any order, though. Also, when you first get into any of those areas, Riesren will mail you saying where Weldehide is.

Ami Land - Trinity Building

Warp to Ami Land using the first option from the Broken Arrow menu. Go up to Trinity Building just like before, going through it's B1F section until you get to 1F, the room filled with Card Suite Doors. This time, most doors are gone, except for the Spades Door and the Clubs Door. Go through the Clubs Door and you'll find a member of Weldehide's Elite Four, Benkei!

Defeat him and you'll get Army! Now it's time to move to your next target. Use the Broken Arrow again and choose the fourth option on the menu.

Sea Land - Dragon Palace's Wastewater Facility

Move up until you get inside the Wastewater Facility again. Since you have already activated the buttons here before, just move through Room A, B and C. Once you cross Room C, instead of getting to the Wastewater Treatment Room, you'll be in a new, sea-decorated area. Let's call it Room D.

There are some warp panels on the floor that will throw you to different areas of room D, as well as two other rooms, which will be called E and F. As soon as you get to room D, you'll be locked with no choice but to step in the first warp panel. It will take you to Room E, next to some stairs that will take you to the same spot in room D, so you don't need to take those stairs now. Ignore the warp up above and keep moving up until you're at the end of the room. Step on the warp to the right and you'll get to Room F, right next to the boss room. Once inside, you'll meet Blub, another member of the Elite Four. Time to fight!

Defeating her will get you the Navy item! Now it's time to move to Air Land so we can get Airforce and get to Energy Land! Select the eighth option on the Broken Arrow menu to warp to Air Land.

Air Land - Ruger HQ

Get inside Ruger HQ again by entering the building in the middle on the area. Keep in mind that, just like in Part 3 when you needed to have a Sting Bug to get to Sea Land by crossing the Submarine Cable, you'll need a Ruger Bug to complete this dungeon. If you have one already, make sure it's on your team, and it doesn't matter whether it's active or not. If not, either buy one, get one inside the dungeon or get one in Air Safari Area.

Cross Wahaha's Room again by going upstairs and, just like before, ignore the computer in the Generator Computer's Room. Go up both Generator Rooms and you'll once again be in Roche's Room. This time, you can walk up to the other side and get up to the Headwind Bridge. Due to the strong wind currents here, this is the area that you'll need a Ruger Bug to cross. There's a very convenient Access Point in this area, too! Assuming you have a Ruger Bug on hand, cross the bridge and you'll get to the boss room! You'll meet Stormy here, yet another of Weldehide's Elite Four.

Defeat him and you'll get Airforce, the final item needed to fix the Broken Arrow. It will start shining bright and... Will finally allow you to get to Energy Land!
