Move types have been introduced in Telefang 2, where each move could have its own type and would determine the effectiveness of the attack to the opponent, as opposed to in Telefang 1 where the move type is the type of the Denjuu.
With the exception of Normal, every type has two strengths, two weaknesses, and two neutralities.
