The D-Shoot is a central element in both Telefang 1 and 2. It is the phone that a T-Fanger uses to call his or her Denjuu for battle. When the battle starts, the Denjuu will take time to arrive in relation to how far away they are. This time is measured in turns.
The Name
"D-Shoot" comes from the original Japanese D-shotto (Dショット), with the D presumably standing for Denki, meaning electricity. It is unknown what it would be called in an official English translation.
Other Uses
The D-Shoot also serves as the game's start menu in both Telefang 1 and 2. In Telefang 1, the choices are as follows:
- Phone book (Allows you to to view the stats of and call one of your Denjuu. Used to switch your partner Denjuu.)
- Picture book (Allows you to view information On Denjuu you've encountered and befriended.)
- Ringtones (Allows you to customise ringtones. Doesn't work in the bootleg version.)
- Items (Allows you to use items on your Denjuu. In Telefang 1, all items do is give your Denjuu experience and reform-evolve them.)
- Save (Saving does not work in the bootleg version to my knowledge.)
Additionally, by pressing select on the D-shoot screen, you get to dial in numbers for Secret Denjuu. This feature is missing from the bootleg as well. This article is a stub. You can help Wikifang by expanding it.
