Elemental types are a classification of Denjuu where each is a certain type. These elemental types determine the effectiveness of attacks in battle.
Telefang 1

In Telefang 1, there are 6 types, of which the comparison chart is show below. The Denjuu's type would determine the type of attack used, in order to determine the effectiveness of attacks.

Telefang 2

In Telefang 2, each move had its own type, which would determine the effectiveness of the attack. A Denjuu can have moves of several types, allowing a Denjuu to have a move type advantage over several types of Denjuu.
