Habitat types are a classification of Denjū where each is a certain type. These elemental types determine the effectiveness of attacks in battle.

In Telefang 1, the Denjū's type would determine the type of attack used, in order to determine the effectiveness of attacks.

Telefang 2
In Telefang 2, each move had its own type, which would determine the effectiveness of the attack. A Denjū can have moves of several types, allowing a Denjū to have a move type advantage over several types of Denjū.
