Telefang English Translation Patch Finally Complete!

After nearly 16 long years the Telefang.net team is overjoyed to announce that the translation patch for Keitai Denjuu Telefang 1 (both Power and Speed versions) is complete!

The patch features fixes for multiple bugs in the original game, default nicknames, longer nicknames, improved name entry, no-RTC mode (for RTC-less flash carts), restored and fully coloured SGB functionality (complete with original borders), multiple variable-width fonts, automatic text narrowing, and everything translated into English of course (including the title screen voiceover).

Version v159 is the most recent version of the patch. The version on RHDN is out of date.

Use a patcher like LunarIPS or Floating IPS to apply the IPS or BPS patch to a copy of the original Japanese ROM. Do not patch an already patched ROM. Make sure you use the Power Version patch with the Power Version ROM, and the Speed Version patch with the Speed Version ROM.

If the Power Version patch fails to apply or run, please make sure you did not apply it to the known bad dump of Power Version.
