In Telefang 1, the player finds items from treasure chests and talks to the Gumi in the bottom left of some shops throughout the game. In Telefang 2, the items are randomly found after winning a battle and fusing them with Denjuu in the building where you heal your Denjuu.

In Telefang 1, reform evolution is permanent, but is reversible in Telefang 2. Also, in Telefang 1, reform evolution does not change a Denjuu's type, but it does in Telefang 2. The types of reform evolved Denjuu in Telefang 1 which return in Telefang 2 are changed. For example, Easy Dog, which is obtained from reform evolving from Bibamu, is Grassland-type in Telefang 1 (which Bibamu also is), but is Desert-type in Telefang 2.

Reform evolved Denjuu generally have weaker stats than natural evolved Denjuu.
