Well, as far as I know this sprite doesn't exist, so I assumed Kid Sonic made it? Well it can be released under his own license, but since it contains copyrighted content I'm not sure of the license. Probably a dual license, or a note saying that the subject matter is copyrighted (perhaps, by the bootleggers). I think GFDL/CC is fine though. But we really shouldn't bother much about this anyway... :/
