Items in Bugsite

Items are tools you can use in battle or to progress through the story in Bugsite. They're divided in Vaccines and Tools, Chips, Passwords and Key Items.

Vaccines and Tools

Vaccines are used to cleanse and capture Bugs in battle. The lower the target's HP, the higher the chance of capture.

Those items cannot be used when battling against other Hackers.

Passwords

Passwords are use on terminals to unlock gates in Site Gates. They're used to travel to different areas of Bugsite.

Gates cannot be unlocked if you don't have the Password item in hand. This means that, although it uses a password system in game, you can't unlock areas earlier than normal.

Key Items

Key Items are items obtained throughout the story that are important to the plot. They do not appear as items in-game, so their descriptions go unseen in regular gameplay.
