Bugs
Bugs are the creatures of Bugsite.
They are "program lifeforms" that can be treated as virtual pets or controlled by people known as Hackers. Wild Bugs can accumulate viruses, and thus, vaccines are used to clean and capture them.
Daichi's first Bug is Spiral in both Bugsite Alpha and Beta.
Bug Biology[edit]
Bugs, due to being program lifeforms, cannot level, unlike Denjuu in Telefang. In fact, they update, and have a Version number, with the maximum number of updates a Bug could receive being 99 if it started at Ver. 1, and the maximum version is Ver. 100.
When Bugs update enough times, they undergo evolution into an upgraded type of bug, Ex: Spiral --> Spiral T-α at Ver. 15. Bugs can learn 4 moves, and said moves can be updated at Ver 99 to powerful new ones.
Bugs and their moves have a Maker, mainly FE, Sting, Ruger, Tahiro and Jank, and all bugs have names that are puns on computer and network syntax. The design/render of a bug depends on the Maker, i.e., Sting Bugs resemble water creatures, and FE Bugs resemble animals.
Bugs can be recycled and salvaged, restarting at Ver. 1 and gaining access to moves they wouldn't get by pure updating or evolving.
