In the manga[edit]
In chapter 2 of the Telefang 1 manga, Crypto calls Suguri to ask for his assistance in fighting a Potzal. Suguri quickly gains the upper hand by leading Potzal into a cave, taking advantage of his own ability to see in the dark. Miyo appears afterward, revealing that Suguri is her partner Denjuu, and they both join Shigeki's group.
Miyo and Suguri's last appearance for some time is in chapter 4, he is later shown to have evolved off-panel into Sugulai by chapter 12.
