The elements in Telefang 1 are rather simple. There are six different types-- Hill, Sky, Wood, Lake, Sand, and Land. Each Denjuu is of one type, and every attacking move the Denjuu has is classified as that type.

The type matchups go in a circle: Hill -> Sky -> Wood -> Lake -> Sand -> Land -> Hill. Each type deals extra damage to the type it is strong against and less damage to the type that it is weak against.
