==Name Etymology==
The name Shigeki is Japanese in origin and means "luxuriant tree". Many other characters in the series have names that reference plants.
 
==In the manga==
Shigeki is one of the main characters of the Telefang 1 manga. His partner is Crypto, who happened to be the first Denjuu he came across upon entering the Denjuu World. Shigeki tends to be brash and often gets himself into dangerous situations, doing such things as attacking enemy Denjuu with his baseball bat on numerous occasions.
