Fungus (IPA: /ˈfʌŋɡəs/) is a Grassland-type Denjuu. It is the player's first partner at the beginning of the game in Speed version in Telefang 1. Its design was said to have been based on a dragon.

Name etymology[edit]

From fungus, as in mushrooms and molds.

A pre-release advertisement in Comic Bom Bom showed its name to be "Fungias" (ファンギアス).
