In the manga[edit]
In chapter 6, Hiyu appears in a meeting of the four elder Denjuu, along with Musa, Kaya, and Zea.
In chapter 9, while trying to rescue an Oshe, Shigeki and Crypto are overpowered by a large group of Spearneedle who take them to see Hiyu. They both fight against Hiyu but begin to be overwhelmed by his War Cannon attacks, until Netaro and Nejiro suddenly arrive to help fend one of the attacks off.
