This Denjuu is obtained from the secret phone number 05*-074*-89#13, and therefore cannot be nicknamed unless traded. It is always obtained at level 20, with a Loyal personality. Hiyu's home area is Paparouna Lake.
The phone number was originally revealed in the December 2000 issue of Comic Bom Bom. It was also printed in the first and last volumes of the Telefang manga, and could later be found on the official Telefang website.

In chapter 6, Hiyu appears in a meeting of the four elder Denjuu, along with Musa, Kaya, and Zea.
In chapter 9, while trying to rescue an Oshe, Shigeki and Crypto are overpowered by a large group of Spearneedle who take them to see Hiyu.
