| | I was just reviewing data on a URL-based split test I ran for my dad using GWO. He doesn't get clwerad daily (few links to his site), but here's what happened.1) Disappeared from Google top 100 for 2-3 days following what I assume was the next crawl date after the test was launched (recrawl was within 2 days, and no other significant activity SEO or CRO wise was undertaken during that time or earlier).2) Dropped like a rock in Bing, something like 40-50 positions. It came back up a bit thereafter, but then went back down.The strange thing is that Bing's current cache is the control page My feeling is that there's a flag to the effect, possible cloaking bastard, be weary of showing to users'.Any thoughts or experience with this? RegardsGab Goldenbergp.s. I'm looking for case studies, and your about page, David (thanks whois/LinkedIn), suggests you know a few things about that care to share? Free links if you do |
