Upon the arrival of Shigeki by falling down from the antenna tree, Musa requests the help of him to run an errand, and providing him with a Denjuu partner, in which in Power version he obtains Crypto, whereas in Speed version he obtains Fungus.
After answering the D-Shot that they found, Shigeki and Matsukiyo are transported to Tronco Village. They are approached by the village's elder, Musa, who briefly introduces them to the Denjuu World and requests that Shigeki run an errand for him. Musa then provides Shigeki with his first Denjuu partner - Crypto in Power Version, or Fungus in Speed Version.

In this village, there is a water shortage, and the Denjuu in charge of carrying water, Netaro, was put to sleep by his brother, Nejiro. The Kakuza Party T-Fangers (<i>Kakuza Party Members</i>) are trying to take over the water source, and thus Nejiro was forced to do so. In the event, Nejiro battles Shigeki, thinking that he is part of the Kakuzato group, but after defeating him, he realises his mistake and gives his phone number to him.
Musa explains that the village has run out of water; the river is unsuitable to drink from and the usual water carrier, Netaro, has disappeared. Shigeki's job is to investigate the Tronco Village Spring and see if he can get Netaro to continue work. Musa also warns that Netaro's brother, Nejiro, may cause trouble at the spring. Matsukiyo stays with Musa while Shigeki goes on his adventure.

Nerikara is also involved in this village and wants people to vote for him by setting up a curry store.
On the way to the spring, Shigeki encounters a man named Nerikara holding a small meeting in the forest. Nerikara is apparently attempting to become the Prime Minister of the Denjuu World, promising to build a curry shop in Tronco Village if the Denjuu will vote for him (though none of the Denjuu actually know what curry is.) His partner, a woman named Tabasco, blocks the entrance of the spring until the meeting is concluded.

Tronco Village (Japanese: トロンコむら, Toronko Mura; Bootleg: Tulunk Village) is the first village that Shigeki encounters in the world of Denjuu.

Name etymology[edit]

The word tronco means "tree trunk" in several Roman languages, including Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Storyline of events[edit]

After answering the D-Shot that they found, Shigeki and Matsukiyo are transported to Tronco Village. They are approached by the village's elder, Musa, who briefly introduces them to the Denjuu World and requests that Shigeki run an errand for him. Musa then provides Shigeki with his first Denjuu partner - Crypto in Power Version, or Fungus in Speed Version.
