Because I know this is going to be brought up...[edit]

I decided to create this article just so I have somewhere to put this. If you don't like it here, feel free to merge it with some article somehow. At least the information is now here. :)

As a side note, in case any of you are wondering how this list can be used, it's used in a number of ways. First of all, the location you're in is stored in byte 0xC904 in the game's RAM. For example, if you're in the bottom-left section of the Overworld, then byte 0xC904 will be 04. Simple. And you can use a GameShark code 01xx04C9 to warp to another location (you have to press Start or Select and exit for this to take effect).

Also, this is used in the game's warp data, which is located under the corresponding map data (see here for more info). The warp data is 7 bytes for each warp, and the third byte is the index number of the location that the game will take you to.

Also, when you fall down a pit (like in the large Antenna Tree), the game lowers the index number of the location you're in by 1, which is how the game takes you to the floor below you.

Finally, in the game's map data, the locations are in the same order as this list. Blaziken257 03:17, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
