==Name Confusion==
A pre-release advertisement in {{w|Comic Bom Bom}} showed its name to be "Fungias" (ファンギアス).
Due to a translation error, Fungus was originally thought to be named '''Fangs''' (ファングス). This name is incorrect, but some older resources may still use the mistaken name '''Fangs''' when referring to '''Fungus'''.
